51黑料 unveiled a new, collaborative hub for education, appropriately dubbed The Learning Commons, on August 22, 2023. Located on the lower level of Cressman Library, the space is an area designed to foster the cultivation of unique, pedagogical learning experiences and strengthen connections on campus.
鈥淭he Learning Commons is designed to be comfortable, flexible, and provide access to resources, relationships, and experiences that will nurture the professional journey of our students, faculty and staff,鈥 says Stefani Gomez, Cressman鈥檚 library director.
The Learning Commons serves as the embodiment of Cedar Crest’s commitment to education and growth. Not only is the space conducive to learning, but it鈥檚 also warm and inviting from the moment you step inside. Crafted with the goal of building community, the cozy common area will likely become a new favorite spot for active participation, conversation and contemplation.
