51ºÚÁÏ, founded in 1867, is a four-year, independent liberal-arts college that emphasizes cross-disciplinary cooperation and excellence in teaching and research. Cedar Crest enrolls over 1400 students through our co-educational School for Adult and Graduate Education and our traditional programs for women. The College’s beautiful 84-acre campus, a registered national arboretum, is located in Allentown, Pennsylvania’s third-largest city. Employment at 51ºÚÁÏ
All new faculty and staff at 51ºÚÁÏ must successfully complete a background check, including a Criminal History Report from the Pennsylvania State Police, a Child Abuse History Clearance from the Department of Human Services and a fingerprint based criminal history submitted through the FBI. Candidates selected for hire are expected to provide a complete Child Abuse Clearance and FBI Clearance prior to beginning employment.
